Danny del Toro is one of the premier harmonica-players of Spain. He is touring frequently in Spain and abroad, playing and collaborating
with renowned, international artists of various countries. His amazingly soulful and expressive harmonica touches everyone's heart.
During a visit to Sweden in early 2015, he met with Jan Sjöberg and heard him play the blues at a club in Stockholm, and that was the start of a fruitful cooperation and friendship across the borders. Together they perform the old-time, acoustic blues as a duo, and on occasions as a band under the name Del Toro Blues Band, playing classic rhythm & blues. They appear at various sorts of venues, in Sweden, Spain or elsewhere. At cafés, bars, pubs and blues-clubs, as well as the big stages, at festivals, etc.
Influences: John Lee Hooker, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Jimmy Rogers, Big Walter Horton, and more.
