Boogie Station is an exciting duo project, with the skilled and versatile harmonica-player, Roland Friberg. A fellow swede and an old friend, from the blues-circuit in Stockholm. Roland is one of very few musicians in Sweden and Europe, mastering the australian, aboriginal instrument, didgeridoo.

The Boogie Station repertoire is based on foot-stomping, acoustic boogie and blues, reinforced with elements of world-music, in the form of the spellbinding didgeridoo, and spicy latin influences. On occasions they perform as a band, with drums and bass, rocking the boogie and the blues even further.

Boogie Station appears at many sorts of venues, big and small. From the little café, bar or pub, to corporate events, blues-clubs, cruise ships, festivals, etc.

Influences: John Lee Hooker, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Muddy Waters, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Jimmy Rogers, Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Canned Heat, ZZ Top, and many more.
